Komedia - the home of BAM! Plus more exhibitors!

Once again BAM! is very proud to be taking place in the brilliant Komedia club in Bath. Located in the heart of historic Bath and home to tons of exciting live events, it's a place you definitely need to check out. Everyone in the BAM team has been to events here and it's an awesome place to see live entertainment!

Here's a bit more about them...

ABOUT KOMEDIA BATH

Hosting over 400 events per year in the beautifully restored Grade II listed former Beau Nash cinema, Komedia Bath offers an unparalleled programme of comedy, music, cabaret and club nights. Komedia Bath, the destination in the region for touring comedy and music, hosts a raft of regular shows which include our double header Saturday night; Krater Comedy Club and, Bath’s biggest club night, Motorcity.

During BAM! visitors can grab refreshments from the Komedia Arts Cafe. There's a range of hot and cold drinks available, as well as homemade cakes. The Cafe also operates a Box Office for all Komedia shows & partner events, so be sure to check it out!

What would this blog be without yet more awesome exhibitor announcements? Well, here's another batch of brilliant creators for you to check out on the day!

Gavin and Emily live in South Wales with their amazing dog Boo. They came up with the idea for Pup & Grumpicorn loosely basing it on themselves and thought it would be fun to create their adventures together.

They were right!

Son of Ken is co-founder of the Swansea Comics Collective along with Pete Taylor. They are the only remaining artists in the group!

Son of Ken works on the Copperopolis comics with Pete but is also selling his own mini comic 'Be There Now In A Minute', a Welsh Language Alphabet hardcover he created last year for his kickstarter and an internal image of the letter C.

I will be selling an Illustrated T-shirt. This illustration was created using only typographyIt is a concrete poetry illustration, and for this self-portrait, I decided to only use the letters of my name r-i-t-a. I will also have two zines:

Concrete Monday zine - a concrete poetry booklet inspired on the weekly routine tasks of an ordinary Monday in my life. This booklet was produced during my second year living away from home (Portugal) while studying in Bath. With the use of typography, I have created a series of 12 illustrations – alarm, breakfast, getting dressed, brush, toilet, work, lunch, wash dishes,
dinner, shower, brush, and sleep.

67 Highstreet zine - This was inspired in my household during my third year of university. We
were paying the price of gold for a house that didn't work, was old, dirty and with constant appliances breaking down. This zine has illustrations to each division of the house (rooms
kitchen living room, bathrooms and outdoor area).
